Jordan Montgomery
Untitled, 2021
Jordan Montgomery first started rapping when he attended CAPA, a magnet school located in Downtown Pittsburgh. When he was pulled over as a young driver for a questionable traffic stop, he learned first-hand what it meant to ‘drive while black’. This confrontation sparked his first hip-hop album, which called out racism, police brutality, gentrification, and other ills affecting his community.
