re:solve Crisis Services is a partnership between Western Psychiatric and Allegheny County. re:solve offers comprehensive crisis services for Allegheny County residents, regardless of age or ability to pay. Services designed to meet your needs and preference include confidential telephone counseling, mobile crisis teams that travel anywhere in Allegheny County, walk-in assistance (no appointment needed), and overnight/crisis residential (up to 72 hours).
Suicide Prevention Lifeline provides 24/7, free and confidential support for people in distress, prevention and crisis resources for you or your loved ones, and best practices for professionals.
National Center for College Students with Disabilities (NCCSD) is the only federally-funded national center in the U.S. for college and graduate students with any type of disability, chronic health condition, or mental or emotional illness. NCCSD offers a Crisis Text Line as well as other information for parents, faculty, and anyone working with college students.
The Pennsylvania Office of Vocational Rehabilitation (OVR) provides vocational rehabilitation services to help individuals with disabilities prepare for, obtain, or maintain employment. OVR provides services to eligible individuals with disabilities such as deaf and hearing services, blindness and visual services, and disability determination.
